Travel Concession Card
What is the travel concession?

The concession card entitles you to concession fares on NSW government buses, trains and ferries.
Who is eligible?
- First, second or third year apprentice or a new entrant trainee currently registered in NSW.
- Existing worker trainees are not eligible.
Things you should know
- Your concession card is approved for a year at a time.
- You may only use the travel concession card for travel between your home and workplace and home and RTO on the days you attend classes.
- Some private transport operators may also allow you to use this concession card.
How to apply?
An application form will be sent to you with your approval letter soon after your training contract is registered.
- complete the form
- obtain your employers signature
- attach a colour passport-size photograph of yourself
- mail the form to the address shown on the form.
You need to apply each year - renewal forms are mailed in subsequent years to your employer.
