The wages and conditions of employment for apprentices and trainees are protected by industrial legislation - like everyone else in the workplace.

Most awards have special coverage for apprentices and trainees   Check out your award at any of the following:

Your Training Contact names the award at question 38.

NSW State Awards or  ph 13 16 28

Federal Awards or ph 13 13 94

The National Training Wage award was created to cover those traineeships that have not been incorporated into an industrial award or ph 13 13 94

Ask your union.
