Productivity Places Program (PPP) is only one of a number of NSW managed programs that fund vocational training in skill shortage jobs.

Qualifications can be at Certificate II to IV levels, and for diploma and advanced diploma.

Funding is targeted to training in 

  • skills in demand
  • priority industries
  • emerging skills needs 
  • local and regional needs

Funded training is available for

  • Jobseekers
  • Existing workers

Priority is given to

  • people with special needs (eg mature aged workers)
  • Aboriginal people
  • Youth
  • Retrenched workers
