Adult and Community Education Joins State Training Services

The NSW Adult and Community Education (ACE) Unit joined Industry Programs, State Training Services in December 2011.

The ACE Unit promotes community education, manages the ACE Funding Program, supports funded community colleges and provides information and advice on community education across the state.

With the support of the Department’s ACE Funding Program, ACE colleges have provided diverse programs to suit the needs of their local communities across NSW. Around 130 000 people from more than 3000 communities (towns/suburbs) enrolled in ACE training in the last year. ACE delivered over 6.5 million hours of training of which 4.6 million hours were in accredited and non accredited vocational education and training.
