Solar and heat pump hot water transition training
To help households reduce their electricity bills and Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions, the Australian government is phasing out greenhouse intensive hot water systems. The phase-out is taking place progressively, between 2010 and 2012.
NSW Department of Education and Communities offers a transitional training program for qualified and experienced plumbers to gain the skills and knowledge required to install and commission solar and heat pump hot water systems.
