Become a partner of the NSW Training Awards
The NSW Training Awards offers an exceptional opportunity for business and organisations to be part of the national priority of skilling people of all ages. Organisations that participate in the Awards as partners are recognised as leading contributors to the development and recognition of skills.
The Awards are launched annually in December involving comprehensive marketing and multi-media promotions targeting industry, small business, training organisations, government departments, private and public training colleges and employers.
The Awards are held across 11 regions and contribute to the State awards presentation. There are 16 award categories which include students, Indigenous Australians, training providers, schools, employers and small business. In addition, there are several special industry-based achievement awards.
Promotion of the Awards includes Community Services Announcements and full colour advertisements and editorial in the metropolitan and regional newspapers, industry and training journals and magazines.
Partners have an opportunity to be acknowledged at regional and metropolitan awards ceremonies and the State awards ceremony where more than 870 of New South Wales’ most influential business, government and community leaders assemble to acknowledge extraordinary success in skilling the workforce.
Australian Business Limited Apprenticeships Centre - Partner for over 12 years
Testimonial
Australian Business Limited (ABL) Apprenticeships Centre has been a partner of the NSW Training Awards for over 12 years and we are very proud of our ongoing association with this program. Last year we achieved the milestone of being the longest serving sponsor in the awards history and that’s an achievement of which we are also very proud.
Sponsoring the awards is a great way for ABL Apprenticeships Centre to make a demonstrative commitment to the ongoing pursuit of excellence in apprenticeships and traineeships in NSW, and play a role in the development of the skills that will sustain Australia’s workforce for the future. It provides us with a strong sense of satisfaction to see these students go on to have highly successful careers, knowing that we have made a small contribution to their development at the outset. It is also heartening to see how bright our future is when you see firsthand the calibre of talented trainees and apprentices we meet and get to know as a result of our sponsorship of these awards.
I feel that through these awards ABL Apprenticeships Centre has forged a strong relationship with The Department of Education and Communities that has highlighted how effectively government and private sector can work together to achieve great results in this critical arena. The greatest gift of all is knowledge and to be involved with helping the next generation of our workforce gain the knowledge that will drive our country forward is a real privilege.
For any organisation thinking of sponsoring an award or becoming involved in the program I highly recommend it and have no doubt you’ll find it a rewarding and enjoyable venture.
