Regional Training Awards
The NSW Training Awards are celebrated throughout the state. Eleven regional events are held each year to celebrate the excellence displayed by apprentice, trainee and students in NSW. These regional events are managed by regional VET promotional committees.
These committees consist of representatives from Australian Apprenticeships Centres, registered training organisations, employer groups and other stakeholders. The main functions of the VET promotional committees is to raise the awareness of vocational education and training and host a regional Training Awards presentation dinner where the best apprentice, trainee, school-based students, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, vocational students and VET trainer/teacher will be announced.
