NETPAC Inc

About the committee

Netpac is an independent committee that has been operating since December 2000 to support skills development in the North Coast region of NSW from Taree in the south to Tweed Heads in the north by promoting Vocational Education and Training.

Netpac plays an integral role on the North Coast by providing a forum where vocational stakeholders can meet to distribute information, share ideas, and undertake joint initiatives. It also co-ordinates and supports activities such as career exhibitions, industry specific seminars, and professional development opportunities to improve the knowledge and skills of professionals working in Vocational Education and Training. Members have collectively developed opportunities and activities through professional development and networking to raise the quality and standards of training outcomes in the region and to increase learner participation in apprenticeships and traineeships on the North Coast.

With over 100 Netpac members, the committee is represented by all sectors of the region’s Vocational Education and Training community including members from Schools, Adult and Community Education, Registered Training Organisations’, Group Training Companies, New Apprenticeships Centre’s, Employer Associations, Job Search Australia providers, and NSW and Commonwealth Government Departments and Agencies.

2012 regional presentation details

The 2012 North Coast Training Awards presentation dinner will be held on Friday 15 June at the C.ex Club located in Vernon Street, Coffs Harbour.
One of the key aspects to the success of our awards presentation dinner has been the active involvement of school and vocational students in this event. Our presentation dinner creates an opportunity for our regions students to gain practical experience and showcase their skills.  In 2011 performances were highlighted by students from the North Coast Talent Identification program and a student identified from the Lismore Diocese.

Over the years, the North Coast region has consistently performed well at both a state and national level.
