Who we are
Adult and community education (ACE) provide a vast range of quality education to the adult population of NSW. ACE Providers offer a wide range of general interest courses as well as national accredited courses.
Adult and community education is supported by the NSW Department of Industry through grants to ACE Providers across NSW, primarily for vocationally oriented training. The Adult and Community Education Unit in the Department promotes community education, supports funded ACE organisations and provides information and advice on community education across the state.
Thirty five ACE Providers deliver training to over 375 locations across the state. In 2014 there were over 192, 000 enrolments and more than 5.1 million student contact hours delivered.
