What adult and community education (ACE) is
Adult and community education (ACE) provides affordable, local training and education to NSW communities. Under the ACE program, participants, employers, delivery partners and providers and the government collaborate to improve learning outcomes for learners and meet community training needs.
You can access adult and community education in metro, regional, rural and remote areas. It’s targeted to local individuals, businesses and communities. The ACE sector includes the many community colleges operating around NSW.
How it's funded
Training Services NSW supports ACE providers through grants. It also funds ACE training programs for business and financially supports disadvantaged groups to participate in ACE training courses.
How ACE works
ACE may help you:
- get into work for the first time
- return to work
- acquire new skills, knowledge and experience and strengthen existing skills
- improve your confidence when looking for work or education and training opportunities.
Who it's for
If you’re an adult and live in NSW, you can access ACE courses regardless of your age, background or personal circumstances.
