Training fees

Training fees

The NSW Government funds the cost of formal training with a registered training organisation (RTO) including TAFE for your apprentice or new entrant trainee.

Enrolment fees

Your training provider is required to charge a fee on enrolment at the beginning of each year for all apprentice and trainees.

Enrolment fees can vary from RTO to RTO.

TAFE NSW currently charges $414 (2010).

Either you or your apprentice or trainee pays this fee.

TAFE fee exemptions

TAFE NSW may exempt fees under special circumstances.
