Congratulations to our Australian Training Awards winner and runners-up!

Congratulations to Donald Dundas who was awarded the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year at the Australian Training Awards held on 23 November 2017.

Donald Dundas National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student of the year

A true mentor in his community in Coonabarabran, Donald Dundas excels at all aspects of his job. His enthusiasm, leadership and specialist skill set has earned him the respect of staff and peers. He has encouraged many local youths to become apprentices and he has shown a true advocacy for VET.

"I'm a proud Aboriginal man driven to be a leader not only of my people, but to encourage all to have a go and better themselves," he said.

Whether it's mentoring, communicating with the community or organising effective workflow, Donald leads by example. He has encouraged many local youths to become apprentices.

We're also proud of the achievements of Jordan Cahill, runner-up for the Apprentice of the Year and Liam Muldoon, runner-up of the Vocational Student of the Year categories.
